🏀 Most teams play 1 game per day
🏀 All teams receive a 3 game guarantee
🏀 Teams must be available for at least 2 days
🏀 Out of state teams may have a 4 game option
🏀 Schedule requests are not guaranteed

Division Format

Colorado Live includes multiple division options so teams can compete at the right level. Divisions include varsity championship-level competition, advanced varsity showcase divisions, and non-varsity showcase divisions.

Breakdown:

🏆 Championship Format: Tier 1 varsity teams only. Teams play 2 pool games before the final day and then receive an assigned 3rd championship/bracket game on the final day based on similar results. Championship format teams must be available on the final day.

🏀 Showcase Format: Teams play pre-set showcase games. These games are designed for competition and exposure, but do not operate as a traditional bracket championship.

Championship Day, What Parents Need to Know

🏆 Only "Championship" Tier 1 varsity divisions participate in Championship Format
📅 Championship Format teams must play on the final day
📊 Final day matchups are assigned based on similar results from pool play, such as 2-0 vs. 2-0, 1-1 vs. 1-1, or 0-2 vs. 0-2
🏀 For teams in Championship Format divisions, the third game/final day matchup will be updated in the scheduling app, Exposure Events, by 11:00 PM the night before the final day.

Because these matchups are based on team results, we must wait for all games to be completed before final pairings can be assigned. We appreciate your patience as we work to create the most competitive matchups possible.

NOTE: When the schedule is first released, you will still see slotted game times for Championship Division games. This will give teams and families an idea of the possible time windows for their final game based on team performance.

Example:
2-0 Bracket A vs. 2-0 Bracket B scheduled at 12:00 PM.
