The NCAA created an opportunity for High School Athletes, Teams, and Coaches to be more a part of scholastic athletes recruiting process by creating designated dates where D1 coaches are permitted to watch and recruit NFHS member high schools compete. This allows for athletes and coaches who do not participate in the grassroots, summer clubs and AAU teams to still have an opportunity to play in front of D1 and non D1 college coaches.
